Sweet sausage biscuits with nuts and dried fruits - a classic recipe from childhood.
Tip: You do not need to add cherries or raisins, these ingredients are not for everybody.
Recipe Sausage biscuit and cocoa
Ingredients:
Cocoa powder - 50 g
White sugar - 125 g
Powdered sugar - 50 g
Nuts (any taste or mix) -75 g
Raisins - 75 g
Dried cherry or cranberry - 75 g
Biscuits (such as "Jubilee") - 1 pack
Butter - 100 g
Milk - 50 ml
Preparation:
1. Put the biscuits in the bag and using a rolling pin (or a hammer for meat) do crumbs (to achieve a very fine crumb is not required).
2. Lightly fry the nuts in a dry pan.
3. 75 g of cherry (cranberry) and 75 g raisins thoroughly wash (dried fruit can be added at any taste).
4. In a small saucepan, combine 100 g butter, 50 ml milk, cocoa powder and white sugar.
We put on a slow fire, heat, stirring occasionally until a beautiful smooth glaze.
Remove from heat and leave to cool.
5. In the cooled glaze add crushed cookies, crushed nuts and dried fruit cut into small pieces.
Thoroughly mix until smooth.
6. Spread over the working surface of the plastic wrap, top to spread the resultant chocolate mass nut and turn tight roll.
Gently but firmly anchoring edge.
7. The finished sausage is cleaned in the freezer for 45 minutes (do not keep in the freezer longer this time, otherwise it will be difficult to cut).
If you want to use later, it is better to leave not a sausage in the freezer, just in the refrigerator.
This sausage is stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
Before serving, crumble sausage in powdered sugar, cut and serve with tea.
Bon Appetit!
