The recipe for making hot beef is simple and successful, so let it be on your table for the New Year. This dish, by the way, will appeal to those who adhere to proper or dietary nutrition.
Ingredients:
Beef (pulp) - 350 gr.
Carrots - 1 pc.
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Prunes - 50 gr.
Kefir - 180 ml.
Vegetable oil - 30 ml.
Water (boiling water) - 150 ml.
Salt and spices to taste
Step by step recipe:
We prepare the necessary products for cooking New Year's hot beef in a pot in the oven. Choose young meat. Kefir is suitable for any fat content.
We peel the head of the onion, rinse it in water and cut it in half. This vegetable must be cut into half rings. We clean the carrots, wash and cut into slices, you can chop them with a grater for a more aesthetic look.
Rinse the beef under running water, cut out the veins and tendons, if any. Cut the meat into small pieces of equal size.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry carrots and onions a little over medium heat, 5-6 minutes will be enough.
Add meat to vegetables. We continue to fry for another 5 minutes until it is slightly browned.
Transfer the beef and vegetables to a casserole dish. The prunes must be washed, if there are seeds, then remove them. Add dried fruit whole to the meat. Salt and season the contents of the pot with spices.
Fill with kefir, put in a preheated oven. Be sure to place the pot on a pallet. When baking, liquid will pour out slightly. Pour dry salt next to the pot just in case.
You must first bake beef at 180 degrees for 30 minutes, during which time the kefir is completely absorbed by the meat and almost no liquid remains. Then take out the pot, add boiling water and continue cooking for another 30 minutes.
New Year's hot is ready. We serve beef stewed with prunes in a pot, with any vegetable side dish, mashed potatoes or rice.
