Well, delicious tortillas! I serve them with first courses, meat and fish. But just like that, with tea, we also love them very much! No one has yet been able to determine what I am making these cakes from and no one believes that everything is so easy to prepare. I don't even touch the dough with my hands! I am sure that such cakes will turn out even for those with a test for "you"!

First, I will prepare the main ingredient - onions. I cut it into half rings. Onions are needed here just raw! if you fry it, it will be a different recipe!

I add salt, sugar and Provencal herbs to the onion. They are very appropriate here. Combined with onions - super! I mix the onion, kneading it with my hands a little, so that it becomes softer.

I also add chopped green onions, bell peppers, melted butter and eggs.

Sift the flour and mix it with dry yeast (I take the yeast that is added directly to the flour). I send flour and yeast to the rest of the ingredients.

I mix with a mixer. But you can use a regular spoon. It will take a little longer, but everything will work out! When all the ingredients are well mixed, I add warm (!) Water. The dough is not thick (the consistency is clearly visible in the video above).

I mix well and let the dough stand in a warm place for about 40 minutes.

I bake flat cakes in small tins (18 cm). But you can use, for example, one large form (28 cm or more). I pre-grease the forms with vegetable oil. I put the dough into molds with a spoon.

Distribute well, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

I put the molds in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Then I leave it in the turned off oven for another 5 minutes.

And that's it! You can serve! My husband loves these hot cakes. On top they are crispy, but inside they are very tender, with a fragrant, slightly sweetish filling. Delicious! Highly!

If I do not serve the cakes right away, I take them out of the molds and let them cool on the wire rack.

I usually prepare such cakes for the arrival of guests - and so far no one has given up on this delicious and aromatic bread!

INGREDIENTS:

• Onions - 0.5 kg
• Eggs - 2 pcs. in the dough + 1 pc. for lubrication
• Flour - 400 g
• Butter - 100 g
• Yeast (dry) - 8 g
• Water (warm) - 130 ml
• Green onions
• Sweet pepper - 0.5 pcs.
• Provencal herbs - 0.5 tsp.
• Salt - 1 tsp.
• Sugar - 1 tsp.
• Sesame (for sprinkling)
