Ingredients:
- fresh frozen mackerel - 2 pcs.
- lemon - 1 pc.
- onion - 1 pc.
- sour cream - 2 tbsp. l.
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper - to taste
- vegetable oil - for lubricating the mold
Step by step recipe
1. First, the mackerel must be thawed and cleaned of the entrails. I have prepared two carcasses of mackerel. Pepper and salt the fish to taste on both sides and inside.
Grease the fish with a little sour cream on top. Sour cream can be of any fat content. If not, then you can grease with mayonnaise.
2. Cut the prepared mackerel carcasses into portioned pieces.
3. Cut the onion into half rings.
Cut 1 lemon into semicircles too.
4. Lubricate the baking dish with vegetable oil a little.
Put the mackerel cut into pieces into the mold. Put onion and lemon between each piece of fish.
5. We put the form with fish in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. We bake the fish for about 35 - 40 minutes.
Baked mackerel with lemon turned out to be very tasty and beautiful. Onion rings give juiciness to the fish, and lemon gives mackerel a pleasant acidity and a piquant citrus aroma. Thanks to the sour cream on the fish, a very appetizing crust is obtained.
