Today I want to offer you a recipe for a super budgetary and very tasty cookies, for the preparation of which you do not need eggs, margarine, butter and other expensive products. There are a minimum of ingredients in this recipe!

What do you usually do with the pickle left over from canned tomatoes or cucumbers? Surely pouring it out. I used to do this too, until I tried the recipe for very tasty and inexpensive brine cookies. The most accessible ingredients produce crumbly, crunchy, sweet biscuits. At the same time, the smell of spices from the brine in the finished baked goods is not felt at all.

📕Ingredients for making cookies: 🍲

Pickle from canned cucumbers or tomatoes - 100 ml
Unscented sunflower oil - 100 ml
Sugar - 200 g
Wheat flour - 350-400 g
Baking powder - 1 tsp l.
Cinnamon, vanillin - optional.

👨🏻‍🍳 Let's start cooking... ⤵️⤵️⤵️

We take any suitable bowl for kneading dough, filter the brine left over from canned cucumbers or tomatoes into it, and pour in vegetable oil.

Next, add sugar. At this stage, you can add some cinnamon or vanillin (vanilla sugar or extract) for flavor. And mix everything well with a whisk until most of the sugar is dissolved.

Now we just have to sift the flour along with the baking powder.

We knead a soft, non-sticky, very plastic dough.

Next, sprinkle the work surface of the table with a small amount of flour, put the dough and roll it out it is about 1-2 cm thick into a layer, it is not necessary to roll it out too thinly, the cookies will rise only Little. Then we take any cutting for making small cookies or just an ordinary glass and cut out circles, hearts, rhombuses... We collect the scraps, mix, roll out again, cut out the cookies. We repeat until all the dough is used up.

We spread the prepared cookies on a baking sheet covered with a silicone mat or parchment paper, or simply oiled. And we send to bake in the oven...

And such cookies are baked in an oven preheated to 180 degrees oven for 15-20 minutes.

We take out the finished cookies and let it cool slightly. It will be slightly soft immediately after baking, and after cooling down becomes crispy. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
