  • Add a small portion of the milk to the starch and sugar mixture and stir to avoid lumps.

  • I pour in a mixture of starch, sugar and milk.
  • While stirring, cook everything together until thickened.
  • When the mixture begins to thicken, heat to a minimum and bring the mixture to a boil.
Custard
  • Boil for half a minute and turn off the heating.
  • Cover cold dishes with cling film. Pour the cream there.
  • One of the conditions for making a custard is to cool it down quickly.
  • Spread the cream over the dishes so that the layer is not thick.
  • Cover the top with a film in contact with the surface and put it in the refrigerator.

Cake dough

  • Mix flour with salt, sugar and baking powder.
  • Add 150 g of chopped coconut oil to the flour.
  • Stir everything into small crumbs.
  • Add 50 ml of cold water to it, mix and collect the dough in a lump.
  • This must be done quickly so that the butter does not melt and the cakes are then crumbly.
  • Divide the dough into 8 pieces and place on a plate.
  • Cover with cling film and refrigerate for half an hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 190 ° C degrees.
  • It is better to roll out the dough immediately on parchment. I cut 4 sheets, each sheet can be used twice.
  • Add flour and roll until fine.
  • I am guided by a diameter of 20 cm.
  • Cut a circle, prick with a fork and send to the oven.
  • Baking time 6-7 minutes. It is not necessary to dry too much, the cake should be slightly browned.
  • While one cake is being baked, roll out the second.
  • It seems that the finished cake is stuck to the parchment, do not rush to tear it off, let it cool a little.
  • Be careful with brittle and crumbly cakes.
  • Their dried scraps can be crumbled for decoration.
