Autumn is the time to collect and harvest sea buckthorn. These sun berries are a treasure trove of vitamins that will help support the body during the cold season. Sea buckthorn tea is especially tasty and aromatic. This tea is now very popular in cafes and is loved by both adults and children. However, such a vitamin drink is very easy to prepare at home. It is enough to pour a couple of tablespoons of sea buckthorn puree with boiling water and add honey or sugar to taste.
To prepare sea buckthorn tea all winter, I recommend making sea buckthorn puree. This method of making mashed potatoes is very simple. It will not require much effort and time from you. And it is also convenient for its portions. So you can always pamper yourself and your family with a delicious, aromatic and healthy drink.
Rather, make preparations for the winter for sea buckthorn tea, for the season of this healthy berry!

Ingredients:

  • sea ​​buckthorn - 1 l (800 g)
  • sugar - 6 tbsp. l.

Step by step recipe

1. We take sea buckthorn, clean it of twigs and leaves, and rinse well with water. I took a 1 liter jar of berries - that's about 800 g.

2. Pour sea buckthorn into the grinder and pour about 2-3 tbsp. l. Sahara. Grind everything until smooth. Since the bones are hard, they remain intact.
I chopped 800 g of sea buckthorn in two approaches. For this amount of berries I used 6 tbsp. l. Sahara.

3. Pour the whole sea buckthorn mass into one bowl and mix so that the sugar is evenly distributed.

4. Put the sea buckthorn puree in a container for freezing ice. I had 3 such containers. We put everything in the freezer. The remaining mashed potatoes were spread out in silicone muffins. We do not fill the cupcake molds completely, about a third, so that there is enough for 1 serving of tea. We also put them in the freezer until completely frozen.

5. The sea buckthorn puree is already frozen. We take it out of the molds. You can gently pry the cubes with a knife. Workpieces can also be easily removed from silicone molds.

6. We put all the cubes with sea buckthorn puree in a freezer bag. You need to store the workpieces in the freezer.

7. When you want to drink tea, take out 2 cubes of frozen puree and put it in a cup. Pour boiling water over everything. Stir and enjoy a fragrant drink. You can add some more sugar if desired.

Sea buckthorn blanks are an excellent alternative to various herbal teas. Sea buckthorn tea turns out to be tasty, aromatic and healthy. You can add a little more ginger root to this puree if desired. Then the tea will be even more fragrant and healthier.
