Happy birthday Cookpad! Good luck and inspiration... This cookie for me "comes from childhood" and smells like a holiday! Because my mother often baked a similar masterpiece for celebrations. Inhaling the wonderful aroma, my sisters and I could not wait for my mother to give a cookie a sample. And, of course, the most delicious thing was licking a plate of sugar-protein filling!! #cuckpad4
Ingredients: Flour, Cold butter, Soft cottage cheese, Egg, Baking soda (slaked), Sugar, Vanilla sugar
Cooking method:
Grate the butter into the flour through a large grater, grind with your hands, add cottage cheese, 3 yolks, slaked soda, knead the dough. The dough should be soft, elastic and not sticky to the hands. Wrap the dough in cling film, refrigerate for 1 hour.
Before removing the dough from the refrigerator, beat the egg whites into a meringue. Beat egg whites until fluffy, gradually add sugar and vanilla sugar, then beat at high speed until firm peaks.
Divide the dough into four parts. Roll out one part, lay out ¼ of the proteins, roll up into a roll, cut into pieces 3-4 cm wide.
Lay the rolls cut side down on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. The thinner you roll out the dough, the more elegant the “roses” will be. We do the same with the remaining dough. Bake in a heated oven up to 180 gr. 30 minutes until golden brown.
