Everyone will like such a cold eggplant appetizer - even those who do not like eggplants are happy to eat it. It is prepared quickly, no "refined" ingredients are needed here - everything is as simple as possible.

This appetizer is great even for a festive table, even just for dinner, in general, I highly recommend the recipe. Once you try it, you will cook all the time)))

Cooking:

Let's prepare the eggplant first. Cut into slices about 1 cm thick. Then we soak for half an hour in salt water so that all the bitterness that can spoil the taste is gone from them.

Then we wash the eggplants with clean water, dry them with paper towels.

Dip the eggplants lightly in flour and fry on both sides until golden brown. After frying, put the eggplant on paper towels so that they are not so greasy.

We rub the processed cheese on a fine grater, add garlic, mayonnaise and chopped herbs to them.

Cut the tomatoes into circles. The thickness is about the same as that of eggplant.

And now we collect our appetizer: we take a circle of eggplant, spread the cheese and garlic mass, put a tomato on top, and cheese + garlic + mayonnaise again on it.

On top, you can additionally sprinkle with herbs.

  • BY THE WAY! Instead of processed cheese, you can take regular hard cheese, it will also be delicious.

An eggplant appetizer with tomatoes and cheese can be served immediately on the table, or you can put it in the refrigerator for an hour - it will be even tastier.

garlic - 1-2 cloves
