I will tell about myself. All my adult life I have been fighting overweight. When it is successful and when it is not very good. But I was never enough for a long time and more often - the weight returned. Weight returned, and besides, even more than it was.
In May 2018, I realized that I had to look for a completely different approach to losing weight and health. And you need to start not with the search for fashionable diets, but with yourself, with your head. And now minus 60 kg on about proper nutrition and a calorie deficit!
Often you ask me to share recipes for fish dishes.
Not so often I cook something from fish, preferring it in a lightly salted version.
But now, apparently, the time has come. My body asked for fish dishes, but more.
So welcome the first recipe - salmon on an onion pillow in a creamy sauce!
Instead of salmon, you can use any red fish of your choice and budget - from pink salmon to salmon.
The fish is tender and juicy, and the onion pillow gives it a special taste.
✅Ingredients:
- red fish (I have salmon) - 900 g,
- onion - 120 g,
- cream 10% - 120 g,
- lemon zest on the tip of a teaspoon,
- salt, black pepper, dried garlic, dry basil.
✅Cooking.
Cut any red fish (I had salmon) into portioned steaks.
Sprinkle the fish with spices: dry garlic and basil, black pepper, put the salt in a baking dish and leave to marinate there.
Cut the onion into rings. And we send it to the microwave for 3 minutes or pour it over with boiling water so that we have time to cook the onion. I don't like the taste of undercooked onions or carrots.
Mix the cream with the lemon zest.
Put the onion on the bottom of the form and put our fish on top.
Fill everything with cream and zest.
We send it to a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Do not overdo the fish, otherwise it will be dry.
So simply and quickly we prepared a wonderful delicate fish.
Serve on an onion pillow, pouring with creamy sauce.
It is very tasty if a piece of fish is planted on a fork with an onion soaked in sauce.
