I tried the Potato cake and tell me if it's worth the money.
In the store, in the sweets section, I discovered a new dessert for myself. More precisely, the dessert is not new, but I have not tried Kartoshka from this brand yet. I bought without looking at the price tag, so at the checkout I was surprised when the saleswoman said that I had 120 rubles.
And this is just for a portion of 60 grams, and if you count it, it turns out that a kilogram costs almost 2,000 rubles (1998.3 rubles, to be precise). Well, let me show you what the “Potato” cake with such a high price is.
The packaging is small and only the names of the dessert and the manufacturer fit on the front side. By the way, the manufacturer is Prokhorov's confectionery, I already reviewed the honey cake of this company (I will leave a link to the review at the end of the article). I wonder if the cakes will look like the picture from the package?
I take off the cardboard, and under it is a small plastic bowl, which contains only 6 tiny cakes. The size of a "potato" is about 1.5-2 cm in diameter. The cakes bear a resemblance to the picture on the packaging, although they do not look so pretty. But in desserts, in addition to appearance, taste is very important. Let's try.
The taste of the cakes is excellent. "Potato" has a very delicate and uniform texture. The inside of the cake is light in color, the outside is covered with a thin layer of cocoa. I haven’t tasted such a delicious “Potato” for a long time, and what is usually sold in stores cannot be compared. I hope the manufacturer did not disappoint with the composition.
The composition of the cakes is indicated on the back of the cardboard. In my opinion, it is good and you can only find fault with sorbic acid, but this is one of the safe preservatives that is approved for use in the world, and not only in Russia. It's time to take stock.
I liked the dessert. Although, in my opinion, the price is quite high. True, I bought dessert in Miratorg, and here prices are always higher than in other stores. But if you do not pay attention to the price, then I will gladly buy this "Potato" again, only one portion was not enough for me, so it is better to buy several at once.
