Today I cook the crispest chicken I've ever tasted. Amazing crust on top, and very tender and juicy meat inside. Perfect for a big party!
First, I'll prepare the chicken drumsticks. I will slightly cut each shin on both sides.
Now I'll pickle the legs. I squeeze 3-4 large cloves of garlic through a press.
I add salt and black pepper to the garlic.
I'll also add some red sweet paprika.
I finely grind the spices in a mortar, but you can do without it, just add the spices to the chicken.
I send garlic with spices to the chicken drumsticks and rub it well. Cover the bowl with a lid and leave to marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature. If you want to leave the meat in the fridge to marinate, it is better to wait 2-3 hours, preferably overnight.
The chicken legs were marinated. I set the oven to warm up to 200 degrees.
While I cook the breading. I have 3 tablespoons, decent top, of bread crumbs.
I add 3 tablespoons of semolina to the breadcrumbs.
I add 50 g of cheese grated on a fine grater. For color, add a pinch of turmeric and stir.
I drive 2 eggs into another plate and shake with a fork.
Dip each leg in flour, then dip in a beaten egg on all sides.
And roll in breadcrumbs.
I spread the legs on a baking sheet, I covered the baking sheet with a silicone mat.
I send it to the oven for 35-40 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.
It turns out a very appetizing chicken and crust :) Mega-crispy outside and juicy inside. Try to cook!
