A simple and very tasty dish is buckwheat with meat in the oven. Anyone can handle cooking, because the oven will cook for you.
I really like to bake a variety of dishes, so they turn out to be many times healthier and tastier. As for buckwheat, once I tried to cook it in the oven, since then it has been my favorite cooking method, so I recommend it to you. You can choose any piece of meat, if you like fatter - take the pulp with layers of fat.
Serve porridge to the table in addition to fresh vegetables. Homemade pickles, herbs, various sauces, etc. will go well with it.
Ingredients:
Buckwheat - 1 glass
Water or broth - 2 cups
Pork - 250 g
Carrots - 70 g
Onions - 70 g
Garlic - 1 clove
Salt, pepper - to taste
Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
Description of the cooking process:
1. Prepare all the required ingredients according to the list. It is better to choose young vegetables, seasonal, if possible.
2. Peel and rinse young onions, dry and cut into small cubes or half rings - whichever you prefer. In parallel, you can turn on and warm up the oven by setting the temperature to 180 degrees.
3. If the carrots are young, it is enough to wash them with a stiff brush and dry them a little. Cut the root vegetable into cubes or slices. The combination of carrots and buckwheat is quite good, so it can be added in large quantities.
4. You can choose pork with a little fat, in my recipe I used a chop. Rinse and dry the meat well, then cut into small pieces.
5. Heat a spoonful of vegetable oil in a frying pan, immediately transfer the vegetables and brown them slightly, add chopped garlic in the process.
6. After that, simmer a little meat in a frying pan, if desired, it can be fried well until golden brown.
7. Now mix vegetables, meat and buckwheat - transfer everything to a heat-resistant form. Season with salt and ground pepper.
8. Pour buckwheat with two glasses of warm clean water or broth. Seal the form with foil and send to the oven, cook for about 20-30 minutes. After turning off the heat, leave the porridge in the oven for another 20 minutes.
9. Arrange the cooked buckwheat with meat on plates and serve.
