Very tasty and easy to prepare salad, juicy. Perfect for any festive table, and also serves as a lifesaver for unexpected guests. It will be nice to serve it in portioned glasses.
I use homemade crackers, if you take purchased ones, then cooking will take only 5 minutes. Be sure to chill the salad before serving.
Ingredients:
Crab sticks - 200 g
Tomatoes - 400 g
Corn - ½ can
Bread - 150 g
Mayonnaise - 80 g
Hard cheese - 100 g
Garlic - 1 clove
Salt and spices to taste
Step by step recipe:
Step 1 - Prepare products according to the list. When buying canned corn, pay attention to the date of production, it is better if it is produced in the summer or early fall. We choose high-quality crab sticks - if surimi is in the first place in the composition, then the fish in it makes up most of the volume. Otherwise, soy protein was used.
Step 2 - Carefully cut the bread into small cubes.
Step 3 - Preheat a dry frying pan, put the bread in it, sprinkle with spices and salt. You can dry the croutons in the oven, but if the fire is kept to a minimum on the stove, then in the pan they will dry out and brown perfectly.
Step 4 - Dry until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Put the finished croutons on a plate and let them cool.
Step 5 - Cut the crab sticks into cubes.
Step 6 - My tomatoes, cut out the stalks. We cut them into not very large cubes, trying to make them the same size as crab and corn.
Step 7 - Put the first layer in a salad bowl - tomatoes. Salt just a little. Peel a clove of garlic, three on a medium grater and sprinkle tomatoes on it.
Step 8 - Lubricate with mayonnaise or apply a mesh from it if the salad will be served in portions.
Step 9 - We spread the crab sticks, also grease with mayonnaise.
Step 10 - Drain the liquid from the corn, put it in a salad bowl, coat with mayonnaise.
Step 11 - Three cheese on a medium grater, sprinkle all layers with it on top. Let the salad soak for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Step 12 - Sprinkle with croutons when serving.
Step 13 - The salad with tomatoes and croutons is ready.
