Today I suggest you prepare a delicious and healthy dish that is suitable for lunch or dinner - chicken with broccoli in the oven. The combination of two main ingredients - meat and vegetables - is correct, must be in the diet of every person. As a result, we get a dietary option that will definitely not harm the figure.

You can serve chicken with broccoli to the table as an independent dish; it will also not be superfluous to add fresh fragrant herbs, seasonal vegetables. You can experiment with sauces. For example, a light sauce based on thick yogurt with garlic and chopped dill is perfect.

Ingredients:

Chicken fillet - 300 g

Broccoli - 200 g

Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

Salt, pepper - to taste

Dry garlic - 1/3 tsp

Paprika - 1/3 tsp

Cooking process:

1. Prepare all the required ingredients according to the list. The chicken can be taken whole, but any part of the bird will do - for an easier option, it is better to use fillet.

2. It is necessary to remove the skin from the meat, trim the fat layers, if any. Rinse under running water and pat dry with paper towels. Prepare spices - dry granulated garlic, sweet ground paprika, salt and pepper. Grease the fillets with them on all sides. You can also use any marinade, only you will have to marinate the bird the day before.

3. Rinse broccoli under cool water. Place a pot of water on the stove. When it boils, lower the cabbage inflorescences and blanch for a minute and a half. After a while, gently remove them from the water.

4. Heat a frying pan, pour in a spoonful of oil and transfer the chicken fillet. Lightly brown the chicken on each side for a few minutes. We need to achieve a golden crust on top.

5. Lightly oil the oven dish too. Transfer prepared poached broccoli inflorescences into it.

6. To add flavor to the cabbage, sprinkle it with salt, pepper, paprika and dry garlic. You can also add spices from yourself.

7. Lay the ruddy chicken on top. Bake the dish at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. After the specified time, arrange the fillet and broccoli on plates, serve.
