Beetroot smoothies and beetroot juice have been linked to cleansing, rejuvenation, and increased stamina, and they treat many diseases.

Ingredients:

Beets - 1 pc.

Lemon juice - 1 tbsp l.

Vegetable oil - 1 tsp l.

Rosemary - 5 g

Water - 100 ml

Salt, black pepper - to taste

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 - To make a beetroot smoothie at home, take the foods listed. Thick cocktails are prepared both from raw root vegetables and from baked or boiled ones.

Step 2 - If the berries and fruits can be thrown into the blender whole or cut into random pieces and grind immediately, then you will have to tinker with hard beets - even small pieces are crushed with labor. Therefore, I recommend that you wash the root crop thoroughly, clean it from the top layer and first grate it on a regular grater with coarse shavings. This makes it much easier to achieve a gruel / puree consistency.

Step 3 - Dip the beet chips into the bowl and crush to the finest possible grain. Juicy beets release liquid quickly.

Step 4 - If there is not enough moisture and it is difficult to grind without additional liquid, immediately pour in lemon juice or some drinking water and continue whisking. In addition to moisturizing, lemon juice leaves sourness, tones and brings flavor balance.

Step 5 - Add olive, sunflower or other vegetable oil with the desired flavor. We put several needles of coniferous-camphor rosemary or leaves of another fragrant herb. If you need a seasoned version, then salt, pepper, and season with ground spices at your discretion. Beat, stirring and chopping all the ingredients. Raw beetroot smoothie is very thick in its original form, eaten with a spoon. If you like thinner cocktails, dilute with drinking water (many are mixed with fermented milk drinks) to the thickness you need.

Step 6 - Pour the beetroot smoothie into portioned containers and serve. As a rule, it is consumed in small amounts at a time.
