Homemade noodles are a great alternative to store-bought pasta. If you have never experienced its preparation, it is worth trying. Yes, the process is time consuming, but the result is worth it. The noodles mixed with eggs turn out to be very tender and tasty, and they also have a pleasant yellow color and, mind you, no artificial colors. Everything is natural. Try it out!
Ingredients:
Wheat flour - 350 g.
Chicken egg - 3 pcs.
Salt - 1 tsp
Water - 80 ml.
Step by step recipe:
1. Prepare the required set of products. If you want a nice yellow noodles, use homemade eggs instead of store-bought ones. Choose only the highest grade flour.
2. Break the eggs into a small container, add salt and water. Stir well until smooth.
3. Sift the flour into a bowl and make a depression in the center. Pour the egg mixture into it.
4. Stir until the flour is as moist as possible. Then transfer the mixture to a floured table and continue kneading the dough with your hands.
5. It should be tight enough. Collect it in a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Leave it at room temperature for 30 minutes. Over time, it will become smoother, more elastic and pliable.
6. For convenience, divide the dough into 3-4 pieces. Roll each of them into a thin layer, sprinkle generously with flour and leave for 15 minutes. The dough should dry out a little.
7. Then wrap it in a tight roll and cut into circles of the desired thickness - it will determine the thickness of the future noodles. Cut the whole dough in this way.
8. Unscrew the resulting spirals and roll in flour, shake off the excess.
9. Homemade noodles are ready. It can be cooked immediately or prepared for future use. It keeps well, but for this it needs to be dried well. Spread the noodles on parchment in one layer or twist in portioned nests, leave to dry completely. Store your own pasta in a sealed bag or container.
10. Boil the noodles in salted chicken broth and serve as a first course. Greens and fresh vegetables will be a great addition to it.
