Would you like to bake soft Viennese waffles with a nutty flavor and crunchy edges for tea? A proven recipe and assistant - a multibaker will help you with this. Viennese walnut waffles can be served with a variety of tasty additions - fresh banana, scoop of ice cream, syrup or jam, fresh berries or caramel sauce, even just sour cream or honey is also very delicious. Attention to those who follow proper nutrition: waffles without topping are already high in calories.

Ingredients:

Wheat flour -1.5 st.

Chicken eggs - 2 pcs.

Sugar - 150 gr.

Cream 20% - 150 ml.

Baking powder - 0.5 tsp

Butter - 80 gr.

Walnuts - 100 gr.

Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

Salt - a pinch

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 - Prepare the required ingredients according to the list. Nuts must be sorted out of debris so that there are no shell particles or partitions left, as is often the case in purchased nuts by weight. We take out the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft.

Step 2 - Before kneading the dough, fry the nuts in a dry hot frying pan, make the heat medium. Stir them periodically for even browning. Remove from heat and let cool slightly, and then grind into small crumbs using a rolling pin or blender.

Step 3 - Whisk the soft butter and sugar at maximum speed.

Step 4 - Without turning off the mixer, add eggs one at a time and pour in the cream at the end of the beating.

Step 5 - Pour baking powder into the flour, mix until smooth. We translate the mixer speed to minimum, add prepared flour and a pinch of salt. Or we simply mix in these loose components with a spoon, if there is no “Dough” mode.

Step 6 - Next, add chopped nuts and vegetable oil, mix. The dough is ready for baking waffles, it comes out thick in consistency.

Step 7 - Install the Viennese waffles panels, you do not need to grease them with vegetable oil. We turn on the multibaker. After the green indicator lights up, put a tablespoon of dough on the panel, 2 at a time - then you get square waffles.

Step 8 - Close the baker and bake for 6-8 minutes, periodically checking the readiness of the baking.

Step 9 - First cool the finished Viennese waffles on the wire rack, then transfer to a plate.

Serve with your favorite topping.

Bon Appetit!
