Tomato salad with sausages is a simple, unpretentious and quite satisfying dish. If there are 2-3 sausages left in the refrigerator, and you need to feed two people, then it is permissible to use such a product in as a meat ingredient, mixing it with chopped vegetables, cheese, etc., and it doesn't matter: boiled sausages or raw.
Ingredients:
Tomatoes - 3 pcs. (large)
Sausages - 3 pcs.
Hard cheese - 100 g
Red onion - 0.5 pcs.
Green basil - 2 stalks
Mayonnaise - 1.5 tablespoons
Salt and pepper to taste
How to cook:
1. Prepare the food you need. Choose tomatoes that are not very juicy, fleshy, so that the dish does not "float" after cooking. You can fill the salad with mayonnaise of any fat content or sour cream. Do not forget about fresh herbs: chopped basil perfectly complements tomato dishes, it brings out their taste. To make the salad brighter, replace regular onions with red ones, and if you have free time, you can even marinate such a vegetable.
2. Rinse the tomatoes in water, cut out the green cores. Cut into medium cubes and pour into a deep bowl. Use only fresh tomatoes, not canned, to keep the salad in shape. If desired, they can be scalded with boiling water for 2 minutes, then drastically moved into ice water and kept there. the same amount of time, and then peel off the peel from them, if you do not like it to come across when tasting dishes.
3. Rinse the sausages in water, cut into slices no more than 1 cm thick, add the slices to the container to the tomatoes. You can use both dairy sausages and raw smoked, dried, etc.
4. Peel the red onion, rinse it under running water and cut it in half. Chop one of the halves into half rings and add to the rest of the chopped ingredients.
5. Cut a block of hard cheese into slices, then chop them into cubes. Send the cheese slices to the container.
6. Add mayonnaise, salt and pepper to the dish. Rinse the basil stalks, tear off the leaves from them and chop them, add to the container. Mix everything gently together.
Place the salad with tomatoes and sausages on plates / bowls and serve immediately.
