"Bride" salad with smoked chicken

On the eve of the New Year holidays, every responsible hostess is looking for recipes for new and interesting salads that will not be ashamed to serve to guests. One of these can be a salad with an interesting name "Bride". There are many variations in the preparation of this dish. Salad is usually laid out in layers, it looks very nice. According to the classic, the main ingredient is smoked chicken, although boiled chicken is often used. The essential ingredients are cream cheese and chicken eggs, which give the dish a delicate, almost airy texture. In this case, egg white is necessarily used precisely for the top layer. Due to the white color of many components and their delicate taste, the salad got its name.

Ingredients:

Smoked chicken breast - 300 gr.

Chicken egg - 2 pcs.

Potatoes - 2 pcs.

Onions - 1 pc.

Processed cheese - 1 pc.

Mayonnaise - 4 tablespoons

Vinegar 9% - 2 tablespoons

Sugar - 1 tablespoon

Greens - for decoration

Salt to taste

How to cook:

1. Peel the onion head from the top layer, rinse, chop into small cubes. Place in a bowl, add the required amount of vinegar, add sugar. Then pour a small amount of warm water into the container so that it slightly covers the onion. This procedure will save the vegetable from its inherent bitterness and harshness, as well as marinate it a little to acquire a sour taste.

2. Boil the potato tubers in the peel until tender, namely until soft. Then cool them completely, peel off the top layer, chop using a coarse grater. Put the potato chips on a flat plate, it will be the bottom layer of the dish. You can use a special molding ring or shape the salad yourself. Grease the potatoes liberally with mayonnaise.

3. Put the onion on top, squeezing it well from the marinade. This and each subsequent layer is smeared with mayonnaise. It not only saturates the layers, but also allows the upper component to adhere well to the lower one.

4. Free the smoked breast from the thick film, cut into medium-sized cubes, place on top of the onion.

5. Boil the eggs in advance until they are hard boiled, cool them, remove the shell, separate the yolks from the whites. Put the latter aside for a while, they will be needed in the future. Grate the yolks on a fine grater, then pour the chicken breast with the resulting shavings.

6. Grind the processed cheese, lay in the next layer. To make the soft cheese easier to rub, place it in the freezer shortly before.

7. The final layer is crushed egg white.

Place the dish in the refrigerator for one hour so that the mayonnaise saturates all layers, then it will become softer. Before serving, decorate the Bride salad with smoked chicken herbs.
