Ingredients:

Chicken fillet - 250 g

Canned green peas - 100 g

Carrots - 1 pc.

Onions - 1 pc.

Vegetable oil - 20 ml

White wine vinegar - 20 ml

Mayonnaise - 40 g

Salt, black pepper, herbs - to taste

To cook Kupecheskiy meat salad at home, take the products from the list. Sometimes, instead of chicken, boiled pork or beef, as well as tongue, are included in the snack.

It is most convenient to carry out several simple manipulations at the same time: we cook something, fry something, and pickle something. Then we cool the hot, after which we proceed to assembly and refueling.

So, put a clean boneless chicken breast into boiling salted water. Boil with active boil and covered for about 25-30 minutes. If desired, we flavor with roots, herbs, bay leaves, pepper, garlic, everything that is usually put when cooking chicken and meat broth.

In a separate bowl, leave onions to marinate for 10-15 minutes. We remove unnecessary harshness, sharpness, but keep freshness and pleasant crunch.

After peeling, chop the onion into thin half rings or cubes: I recommend not grinding it. Fill with light wine vinegar, add about 100 ml of drinking water, you can add a pinch of sugar. We insist, then discard it on a sieve, drain the liquid.

Next, we sauté grated carrots in a hot frying pan with vegetable oil. The sweeter a given root vegetable, the tastier. Remove the top layer, with three coarse shavings - fry for 3-4 minutes until softened, thoroughly soaking in oil. Let it cool.

Tear the boiled chicken into medium-sized pieces, combine with fried carrots, pickled onions and canned green peas. Season with mayonnaise, chopped garlic, salt and hot pepper. Stir, remove the sample.
