Ingredients:
For the test:
Kefir - 500 ml.
Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Eggs - 3 pcs.
Flour - 300 gr.
Soda - 0.5 tsp.
Salt - 1 tsp
For filling:
Eggs - 3 pcs.
Green onions - 100 gr.
Salt, pepper - to taste
How to cook:
Prepare all components according to the list. Boil three eggs in advance so that they have time to cool. Leave the rest of the eggs for making the dough.
Pour kefir at room temperature into a deep container.
Next, beat in three eggs.
Add all loose ingredients - sugar, soda and salt. If the dough is kneaded on any fermented milk product, then soda is added in its pure form, that is, it does not need to be quenched with vinegar. Stir the mixture thoroughly with a whisk, making it as homogeneous as possible.
Sift the flour through a sieve for lightness of the cake. Then, in small portions, mix it into the liquid mass, regularly working with a spoon.
The dough should be smooth and lump-free, so beat it with a hand blender. Let it stand for literally 10 minutes, in the meantime, start preparing the filling.
Peel the cooled boiled eggs, cut into medium-sized cubes. Rinse green onions under running water, dry a little and chop into small rings.
Combine eggs with onions in one container, mix. Salt the mixture, add a little ground pepper.
Prepare a container for baking the cake. It can be either a split form or a conventional heat-resistant one. Lubricate it with vegetable oil or put parchment paper inside.
Divide the dough into two parts, pour half into the bottom of the container. Put the prepared egg and onion filling on top, smooth it out.
Pour the rest of the dough over the filling. Place the workpiece on the middle level of the oven, preheating it to 180 degrees. Bake the cake for about 30 minutes. After a while, pierce it with a wooden skewer. If the dough doesn't stick to it, then it's ready.
The cake rises immediately after it is removed from the oven, but drops slightly over time.
Let it cool, then cut into portions.
Jellied pie with onions and eggs is ready.
Serve.
