Chicken cutlets with semolina are a delicious, nutritious dish. Semolina is added to the minced meat, soaked in meat juice and swells due to it. The minced meat itself becomes lush and a little loose, and the cutlets cooked from such a semi-finished product always turn out to be juicy, soft and rosy.
They can be fried in a pan or baked in the oven. If you're cooking for kids, bake it better. The recipe is very simple and the dish is great. I recommend trying it!
Ingredients:
Chicken meat - 700 g.
Bulb onion - 1 pc.
Semolina - 2 tablespoons
Garlic - 2 cloves
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper - to taste
Vegetable oil - for frying
Step by step recipe:
1. Prepare the required set of ingredients. You can buy minced chicken at the store or cook it at home. I like the second option more, you can be sure of the quality of products.
2. Choose the meat part of the chicken (I have a chicken breast, the thighs are also great), separate the meat with the skin from the bones and cut into small pieces.
3. Pass through a meat grinder. To feel the meat pieces in the finished dish, use a larger strainer.
4. Add the onion and garlic rolled through a meat grinder to the minced meat.
5. Add salt, black pepper, egg and semolina.
6. Mix everything thoroughly. In order to prevent the cutlets from cracking during frying, the minced meat must be well beaten against the bottom of the bowl. Leave it at room temperature for 10 minutes to swell the semolina.
7. Chop a skillet with vegetable oil. Soak your hands in clean, cold water and form into small patties. Making them round or oval is up to you, it's a matter of taste. Put the blanks in the pan.
8. When the underside is well done and golden brown, flip it over. Cutlets are fried for about 3-4 minutes on each side over low heat.
9. Delicious, juicy and ruddy chicken cutlets with semolina are ready.
Serve hot. Such cutlets will be an excellent addition to any salad or side dish - mashed potatoes, various cereals, pasta.
