Winter salad is often confused with the famous Olivier. They are really similar, both in the composition of the products and in appearance. However, there are also differences. Boiled carrots must be added to the classic "Winter" salad, which is often not found in "Olivier". Onions are also used here, you can take green or onions of your choice, or use both products, then the dish will taste sharper.
The salad comes out very tasty and satisfying, it can easily decorate any festive table.

Ingredients:
Potatoes - 200 gr.
Sausage - 250 gr.
Egg - 3 pcs.
Carrots - 80 gr.
Canned cucumber - 100 gr.
Canned peas - 100 gr.
Green onions or onions - 40 gr.
Salad mayonnaise - 120 gr.
Salt, pepper - to taste
How to cook:
Prepare all the food you need. Boil the root vegetables in the peel in advance, for this you can use one container of water. Cook until cooked, potatoes about 30 minutes, carrots about 50 minutes.
Readiness can be easily determined by yourself by piercing the vegetables through with a knife. But the main thing is not to digest, so constantly monitor the process. Cooked vegetables will disintegrate when sliced, you will not be able to get even pieces.
Cool the potatoes, remove the top layer and cut into medium-sized cubes.
Do the same with boiled carrots.
It is also better to boil eggs in advance so that they have time to cool down. The cooking time is exactly 10 minutes after the water has boiled. Then they will definitely turn out hard-boiled, while they will not be overcooked, the yolk will remain bright orange, will not darken around the edges.
After boiling, be sure to place the eggs in ice water. This procedure allows them not only to cool down, but also to better cleanse the shell.
Adjust the peeled eggs into the same cubes as much as possible.
Squeeze the pickled cucumbers from the marinade, free from possible spices in the brine. The cutting method is similar to the previous components.
Free the sausage from the top wrapping, cut into cubes.
Place all prepared food in one bowl. Choose a large capacity to mix the salad more conveniently.
Add the peas, removing the marinade. Rinse the onion, blot it with a towel, chop and add to the main composition.
Season the salad with mayonnaise. The amount of this sauce can be changed to your taste, the same applies to the fat content.
Cool the finished classic "Winter" salad in the refrigerator for literally 30 minutes, then put it on the table.
