An example of a delicious, satisfying and easy-to-prepare family lunch or dinner is pork stewed with onions and soy sauce in a pan. Delicate, soft meat in an appetizing gravy goes well with any side dish.
Ingredients:
Pork pulp - 400 g
Onions - 1 pc.
Garlic - 1 tooth
Soy sauce - 50 ml
Vegetable oil - 30 ml
Flour - 30 g
Salt, hot pepper - to taste
Step by step recipe:
Step 1 - It is preferable that the meat is fresh without pre-freezing. But, if necessary, thaw it in advance and gradually on the refrigerator shelf. Do not like excessively fatty meat, cut off fatty interlayers and a tough film. Soy sauce with a high salt content is rich, very salty, you don't need to add salt to it. But for low-salt soy sauce, you still need a pinch of salt. Taste it.
Step 2 - Wash the pork flesh with cold water, wipe it with a paper towel and cut it into longitudinal bars of the same thickness - like on beef stroganoff. Fill the cold cuts with a portion of wheat flour and mix. We bread each piece from all sides with a thin layer of flour, which will preserve the juiciness of the meat and become a thickener for a silky sauce.
Step 3 - Preheat a frying pan with a board or a saucepan over an overhead fire. Pour in the lean refined oil and after 30 seconds, spread the breaded pork into the crackling fat. We maintain a sufficiently high temperature, quickly fry for 3-4 minutes until a light crust.
Step 4 - Chop a large onion in thin half rings, load it with the meat, stirring, continue frying for the next 3 minutes until the onion is transparent. Finally, toss in a crushed garlic clove to enhance the mouth-watering flavor.
Step 5 - Pour in the soy sauce. If it is too salty, it can be diluted with water. Stir, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer under the lid for about 20-30 minutes, until the meat is tender. If necessary, season with additional salt.
Step 6 - Sprinkle the cooked hot pork with ground hot pepper.
Step 7 - Serve delicious pork with onions in soy sauce either alone or with vegetables, herbs, pickles, dried sesame seeds, or also with a side dish.
