Delicious oatmeal with banana is ideal for a hearty and delicious breakfast.

When choosing oatmeal, give preference to one that is cooked for 15 minutes or more. I do not recommend taking flakes that do not require cooking at all.

Take milk from 2.5% fat, and best of all, homemade. The fatter it is, the tastier the porridge will be.

As a supplement - cocoa. For a recipe, you can take absolutely anything - both bitter and sweet, from which chocolate drinks for children are prepared. It will give the dish not only a unique taste, but also a wonderful view.

Ingredients:

Oatmeal - 1 glass

Milk 2.5% - 400 ml

Banana - 150 gr.

Cocoa - 4 tbsp. l.

Butter - 25 gr.

Sugar - 2 tsp l.

Salt - a pinch

Preparation:

1. Prepare all the required ingredients according to the list.

2. Pour the milk into a heavy-bottomed saucepan and bring to a boil. I used cow, but you can replace it with goat. You can also cook porridge in vegetable milk. Coconut, oatmeal, or soy with vanilla are great. Because they all go well with the oatmeal and give it an excellent flavor. You can also boil in water, add cream or dilute milk with water, in a 1: 1 ratio.

3. Then add the oatmeal to the milk. You do not need to rinse them before cooking.

4. Put the pan on the fire and cook the porridge for 10-12 minutes over low heat with the lid closed. Do not leave her unattended as she may escape.

5. Then remove from heat, add butter and sugar. You can also sweeten with syrup, sweetener, honey. You can substitute coconut oil for butter.

6. Stir well and add cocoa. You can add chopped milk or dark chocolate. It will give the porridge a more pronounced chocolate flavor.

7. Stir and cook for another 5 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally. Then add the chopped banana. For the recipe, I recommend taking more ripe fruits, not green ones.

8. Mix everything well until smooth, close the lid and let it brew for 2-3 minutes.

9. Put the finished chocolate oatmeal with banana on plates and serve.

Before serving, the dish can be garnished with berries, nuts, syrup, honey, condensed milk, yoghurt, coconut, grated chocolate, jam or jam.

On the table, along with oatmeal, you can serve chopped fruits or sandwiches with peanut butter, chocolate, strawberries and bananas.

Ideal drinks are: hot chocolate with marshmallows, berry tea, coffee with milk, compote or orange juice.
