A dish based on Asian cuisine - chicken in honey and soy sauce. It is delicious on its own and goes well with mashed potatoes, cereals, pasta, funchose. Honey not only leaves a sweetish note, but together with the dark soy sauce enhances caramelization. Poultry pieces are saturated with moisture and evenly covered with a bronze tint.

Chicken with honey and soy sauce is cooked on a stove top heat or baked in the oven. As an addition, add thin slices of carrots, zucchini, sweet pepper, ginger root, legume pods.

Ingredients:

Chicken thighs - 500 g

Honey - 1-2 tsp l.

Soy sauce - 1-2 tbsp l.

Carrots - 1 pc.

Garlic - 2-3 teeth.

Vegetable oil - 30 ml

Sesame - 15 g

Chili, salt, black pepper - to taste

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 - Prepare the required foods. If you prefer a more dietary option, take poultry fillets, remove the fat layers. For those who want juicy chicken, we recommend cutting the carcass into small pieces or using any parts with bone (wings, thighs, drumsticks).

Step 2 - For an appetizing aroma and pungency, add chili rings (remove excessively scalding seeds if desired), chop finely with a knife or pass a few garlic cloves through a press. Ginger, zest can be the next in the list of flavorings typical for such dishes.

Step 3 - Shred the carrots with a vegetable peeler - remove layer by layer with flexible, almost transparent strips. Such, even with fast frying, have time to soften and creep almost completely. If the goal is to preserve the vegetable cuts, chop larger, for example, bulky bars, cubes or straws.

Step 4 - Pour in the main seasoning - honey and soy sauce. We adjust the dosage ourselves. The sauce with a high salt content is taken in smaller quantities. It is important to be careful and not to overdo it - concentration can easily ruin the meat. Sauces with a low salt content are moderate in salt, so you will have to add a pinch or two of salt. For very spicy food, use ground pepper.

Step 5 - Stir the chicken and vegetables with honey and soy sauce - turn from bottom to top, marinate for at least 30 minutes. It is convenient to stand on the refrigerator shelf until frying or baking.

Step 6 - If you decide to cook in the oven, transfer to an oiled dish and bake at 180-200 degrees for 20-25 minutes. In order to fry on an overhead fire, first heat the pan, pour in the vegetable oil and load the whole marinated mixture. Stir periodically, evaporate moisture, ruddy and bring until tender.

Step 7 - Sprinkle the glossy chicken with honey and soy sauce with sesame seeds, fresh herbs and serve.
