A delicious lunch or dinner can be prepared from ordinary river fish. Oven-baked carp will appeal to both those who like a hearty meal and those who follow a diet. In the first case, serve appetizing fish with baked goods and a side dish, in the second - with fresh vegetables and cheese.

If you wish, you can pre-marinate carp fillets in lemon juice and spices, seasoning for fish - they will remove the unpleasant odor of mud typical of river fish. However, it can be neutralized after baking by watering the ruddy carcass with lemon juice after extraction and serving with such a citrus cut.

In any case, do not forget to grease the baking dish and lay the fish skin side up. If you do the opposite, it will stick to the bottom of the container and you will no longer be able to serve the prepared dish attractively!

Ingredients:

Carp - 0.7 kg (fillet)

Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

Salt - 4 pinches

Ground black pepper - 3 pinches

Lemon juice - 0.5 tablespoons

Lemon and dill - for serving

Peel fresh fish. Open her belly and remove the insides, being careful not to hurt the gallbladder. Rinse the carcass thoroughly in water. Cut off the head, tail and fins - there is no need to bake them, it is better to leave them on carp fish soup.

Halve the washed and peeled carcass into two equal parts. If you have a large family and a baking dish allows you to put both pieces in it, brush them with salt and ground black pepper. Optionally, one part can be frozen for future dishes, and the other can be baked.

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Place the fish skin side up in it and brush with oil on top too, so that it becomes crispy and ruddy after baking.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Bake the carp for about 30-35 minutes, depending on the thickness of the piece.

Remove the cooked fish from the oven. Let cool slightly. Cut gently with a knife in a circle, slightly lifting, so that when transferring to a plate, the fish does not break into pieces.

Transfer the baked carp to a platter, drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh herbs. Serve it warm. You can complement an appetizing dish with aromatic garlic sauce.
