How I love beets! My grandmother suggested another interesting recipe for cooking beets in a pan. Beets acquire a pleasant creamy taste. This dish is prepared very simply and quickly, and most importantly - it comes out inexpensively!

I cut the onion into cubes.
Beets into small cubes. It is most convenient to first cut the beets into rings, and then into cubes.
I heat a frying pan with 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the onion until transparent. About 2 minutes.
Now add the beets, mix and cook over low heat for 10 minutes without a lid.
And this is my furry friend. Always close, wherever I go :) Do you have any pets?
It took 10 minutes, salt and pepper to taste.
Add sour cream, mix.
Cover the pan with a lid and simmer until the beets are cooked.
It took me 20 minutes.
Turning off the fire. I rub a clove of garlic on a grater and add to the beets. I will stir. Can be served with tolu!
The beets are great. I had homemade sour cream, the beets turned out to be quite oily. I recommend taking not fat sour cream, 10-15 percent, it will be just wonderful. For more details on how the finished dish looks like, see my video at the beginning of the article.
