Tortillas almost out of nothing - flour and boiling water! They will completely replace both bread and desserts. And it is so tasty that it is difficult to force yourself to stop... These cakes quite easily replace bread. Moreover, if you make a sweet filling, you can even just use sugar, then this is already a substitute for desserts!

These cakes are really suitable for every day, especially since it turns out well, quite budget.

I sift flour into the bowl where I will make the dough.

I add a teaspoon of salt and mix with flour.

I will not make sweet cakes, if you want exactly sweet ones, you can add sugar, and reduce salt.

I make a depression in the flour and pour in a couple of tablespoons of odorless vegetable oil.

Now pour in "boiling water" in a thin stream and stir with a spoon.

As it became difficult to stir with a spoon, I begin to knead the dough with my hands. The dough is very easy to knead, it seems to me easier to do it in boiling water.

The dough should be soft and not sticky to your hands.

I put the dough into a bag and put it in the refrigerator to "rest" for 20 minutes.

Until then, I'll prepare the filling. I'll just have green onions. I chop it finely.

You can use completely different fillings, or you can just salt or sugar, any other herbs, seasoning, cottage cheese, cabbage, potatoes, and so on. A bunch of options. This is good, every day a new taste!

As the dough has rested, I roll out a flagellum from it and divide the dough into 4 equal parts.

I put 3 parts aside and cover with a towel so that the dough does not dry out.

I roll out the dough into a thin cake. You don't need to strive for a perfect circle - that's too much.

Now I grease with oil, quite a bit and sprinkle with onions.

I fold the resulting flagellum into a snail. I cover it with a towel so that it doesn't get windy and do the same with the rest of the dough.

I cover the baking sheet with baking paper and shift the cakes, cover with a towel and let them rest for another 10 minutes.

Time has passed, I press on each cake with my hand and I get 4 such thin cakes.

I grease with oil and pierce the cakes with a fork.

I cook in preheated to 250 degrees for 15 minutes.
