Today I want to share with you a very tasty dish made from banal beets, and even very budgetary!
Cooking it is quick and easy, and at the exit we get a side dish hot, and cold a snack or salad. Recently I discovered this recipe for myself and, as for me, it turns out even tastier than vinaigrette!
And before the recipe, I propose to laugh a little, agree?! 😊

By the way, on the second day the beets become even more delicious. So this dish can be prepared in advance. I even serve such beets on the festive table, it flies off the table instantly.
Let's start cooking:
Dear ones, for convenience, I will leave the list of ingredients in the first fixed comment (at your request).
Cut the onion into small "quarters" and fry in a pan with vegetable oil for 2 minutes.
In the meantime, I’ll do the beets.
I rub it on a coarse grater. In order not to get my hands dirty, I use a regular plastic bag. Gloves nowadays are very expensive, who would have thought what would happen before. Agree with me ?!

To prevent the beets from losing their color during cooking, I sprinkle them with lemon juice and stir.
Meanwhile, the bow is ready.
Add the beets, stir and continue to simmer under a closed lid over the heat for just below average for 7 minutes.
Then I add tomato sauce (I have a homemade one), mix.
But now I salt and add the following spices (they will give a special "piquant" taste to the beets): black pepper, suneli hops, ground coriander, dried basil. I mix everything, close the lid and simmer for about 10 minutes.
5 minutes before cooking, add the bay leaf.
Now I definitely add chopped garlic and chopped peanuts!
Yes, it is budget peanuts, with which the beets become "especially" tasty.
