Herring recipe spicy marinated with lemon juice

Ingredients and preparation:

1 kg of herring take 3 tablespoons salt, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 0.5 teaspoonful of citric acid, lemon juice and better taste. Add black pepper, allspice, oil and 0.5 liters of boiling water.

You can also add slices of raw carrot, cut into rings of red onion and bay leaf. It looks wonderful in a glass jar!
Clean the fish, cut off the tail and fins. Prepare the marinade. Dissolve the sugar in water, salt and citric acid or lemon juice. All stir and pour herring marinade, then put in the fridge for a day.

Then wash the fish under cold running water, cut in small slices and fold in the bank, each layer seasoning spices and bay oil, adding carrots, onions and lavrushku. Let stand up a little soaked. Herring in spicy brine is ready!


You can marinate the carcass as a whole, pieces or folded slices of fillet.
