Dessert from the 60s: I cook for tea instead of unhealthy cakes and pastries (I spend 15 minutes, and it's very tasty)

Admin

The recipe was sent to me by my subscriber about three years ago, for which I am very grateful to him! Now I have no problem with desserts. When you need something tasty for tea, I take a loaf and jam - and a delicious dessert is ready for tea!

I showed this recipe and 9 more ideas that I make with stale bread in the video. Take a look - you will like:

How to cook

I cut a loaf (you can even take a stale one) about a centimeter thick. Any bread can be used, of course. But I noticed that it tastes best with a loaf! We need 6 slices for breakfast for the whole family.

Now I take any jam (I have homemade apple) or thick jam. I grease them with half of the prepared loaf slices (3 pcs).

Top with the remaining slices. And grease the second layer with butter. Not margarine! Namely, delicious butter. I buy from local farmers. It resembles at least a little oil from childhood))

I cut the resulting "sandwiches" into stripes. Like this, along:

And now I dip each piece with butter in sugar. You can mix sugar with cinnamon if you like.

Now onto a baking sheet - and into the oven! Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. I bake for 7-10 minutes. Take a look in your oven!

And that's it! It tastes better than any cake. A crispy and delicious dessert is ready for tea! Try it. And write if you have cooked this way before.
