A very tasty salad for the winter, which is prepared one-two-three! The salad turns out to be very fragrant, fresh, slightly crispy. Can be served with any side dish or meat. I prepare this salad every year. And every year I make 5 more cans, but still not enough until spring!
How I prepare this salad, see the video below. There is also a recipe for delicious homemade ketchup and vegetable paste for soups. I will definitely prepare all this for the winter! Look - you will like it))
First, I rub the carrots. I transfer it to a suitable container.
Now the cabbage. I cut it into thin strips and send it to the carrots.
I cut the bell peppers into strips, the onion into half rings, the tomatoes into slices. It is advisable to choose hard tomatoes (you can take slightly unripe ones). I send it all to the rest of the vegetables.
Now I add salt, sugar, vegetable oil and vinegar.
Gently mix everything and put it in jars. I pre-sterilize the banks. I usually "fry" them in the oven. I showed other ways to sterilize cans HERE.
From this amount of ingredients, 8 half-liter jars are obtained. I cover with clean lids and place the jars in the pan (for sterilization).
Be sure to put a towel on the bottom of the pan. I pour warm water over the shoulders of the cans. Bring to a boil and sterilize for 20 minutes. I sterilize liter cans for 40 minutes.
Gently take the cans out of the pan and immediately cork them.
I turn the cans upside down and cover them with a warm blanket. I leave it like this until it cools completely.
The salad keeps well at room temperature. It turns out very juicy, insanely aromatic, sweet and sour, slightly crispy. Delicious with any side dish! Often such a preparation helps out when you urgently need to come up with some kind of snack. I opened the jar - and you're done!
