No-hassle pies: no need to run to the store, all the products are usually in the refrigerator (20 pies in 20 minutes)

Admin

A simple dough recipe. Now that everyone is at home, I cook them almost every day. It turns out very tasty with any filling!

I previously shared several recipes for pies that do not contain yeast.

If you missed it, watch it in this video (you will definitely like it):

And today I'll show you how I cook my favorite cabbage pies. Just 20 minutes - and the pies are on the table!

You can make tortillas from this dough and serve instead of bread.

How I prepare the dough:

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Kefir, egg, salt, sugar, butter. Then I add baking soda. I'm mixing it all up.

If you don't have kefir, you can take sour milk, yogurt, low-fat sour cream, fermented baked milk, whey - any fermented milk product.

And if suddenly there is nothing like that in the refrigerator, you can use ordinary pickle (from under cucumbers or tomatoes). It turns out, by the way, no less tasty))

Gradually add the sifted flour. Not all at once! The flour may go a little less or a little more. Depends on both the flour itself and the size of the eggs.

I stir first with a spoon, then with my hands.

The dough is slightly sticky

I leave the dough in a bowl for 5 minutes. And you can sculpt pies!

I cut the dough into pieces (add flour so that it does not stick to the table).

My favorite filling for these pies is stewed cabbage. How I cook stewed cabbage, I showed in this video (there are 5 recipes at once):

I form pies and fry them in vegetable oil on both sides until a beautiful golden brown crust.

I spread the patties on a paper towel to remove excess oil. This is delicious! I make such pies with different fillings. It is also delicious with potatoes (potatoes with liver is my husband's favorite filling), with mushrooms, with sauerkraut and even pickled cucumbers!

You can cook these pies in the oven. I bake at 180 degrees. Delicious and sweet stuffing!
