Today I cook with duck (it tastes best with it). But you can take chicken, and turkey, and beef. Very simple, but very tasty!
How to cook:
I cut the duck into pieces and remove all the fat (almost all).
On a rooster, I pour a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil, onion chopped into half rings and chopped carrots. Top - pieces of duck. Cover and carcass for 25-30 minutes.
Then I add water (so that the water covers the duck and even is a couple of cm higher). Cover again and simmer over very low heat (about 40 minutes). If I cook with chicken or turkey, you don't need to stew for a long time!
I am preparing dumplings dough (I have my favorite - boiling water). I combine an egg, salt and vegetable oil. I add it to the flour. Stir a little and pour boiling water. I knead the dough.
I grease the board with vegetable oil. I roll out the dough very thinly and put the onion on the dough. You can use regular raw onions, cut into half rings and some black pepper. You can pre-fry the onion.
But I usually add dry onions. How I dry onions and how they differ from fresh ones, I told HERE.
Roll up and cut into equal pieces. I spread the resulting rolls on top of the duck. And I simmer for another half an hour over low heat.
