β Today I want to share with you an amazing way to freeze minced meat using a rolling pin. This way of storing minced meat was shown to me by my friend, for which many thanks to her! Now there is plenty of free space in the freezer and such minced meat defrosts very quickly.
Previously, like many others, I used to freeze minced meat just "lumpy" in a bag. I am a thrifty person and I usually harvest a lot of homemade minced meat at once - a whole basin! And there was almost no room left in the freezer. And now it is full, and even such minced meat is thawed quickly. π
π€©Let's already show you this cool way to prepare minced meat!
I put the minced meat into a regular food bag (you can also take special freezer bags, if any).
I press the minced meat a little with my hands.
I take a rolling pin and thinly roll the minced meat into an even rectangle - 3 mm thick.
I take a small stick further: you can use a pencil, but I took a sushi stick.
I divide the minced meat into three parts. I press the minced meat with a stick. This is how it turns out:
Then I again divide the minced meat into three parts, but this time across the strips that we made. It looks like a chessboard.
I make several bags this way and put them on top of each other and in the freezer!
