Beautiful, mouth-watering and delicious chops with cheese and mushrooms are perfect for a festive and New Year's table.
Juicy chicken fillet covered with tomato sauce, mozzarella and ruddy mushrooms. Such a meat dish will conquer even gourmets.

Preparing such chops from is not difficult. They are easy and quick to prepare.
Chicken fillet, if desired, can be substituted for turkey fillet. But I strongly advise you not to replace mozzarella with another cheese. Because it is mozzarella that gives the unique creamy taste.
These chicken chops with cheese and mushrooms will become the most coveted dish on the holiday table.

Ingredients:

  • chicken fillet - 4 pcs. (1.3 kg)
  • fresh champignons - 200 g
  • mozzarella cheese - 2 pcs. (250 g)
  • tomato sauce - 80 ml.
  • salt to taste
  • Italian herbs -1 tsp l.
  • ground black pepper - to taste

Step by step recipe

1. Take the chicken fillet and cut it lengthwise into 2 pieces. First, the fillets must be washed and dried with paper towels. I used 4 fillets and I got 8 pieces of meat. Instead of chicken, you can use turkey fillet.


We beat each piece a little with a hammer on both sides.

2. Salt and pepper all fillets on both sides. Rub all the seasonings with our hands over the meat.

3. Put the prepared meat in one layer in a preheated pan with a small amount of vegetable oil. I have 2 fillets at a time. Fry the meat on both sides until a beautiful golden brown crust.
Remove the finished meat from the pan onto a paper towel to drain off excess fat.

4. Cut 200 g of medium or large mushrooms into slices.
Put the mushrooms in a dry preheated pan. Fry them over high heat until golden brown. When the mushrooms are fried on one side, gently turn them over to the other side. Fry them for about 1-2 minutes more and remove from heat.

5. Cut two pieces of mozzarella into 8 slices. In total, I needed 250 g of cheese.
Take 80 ml of tomato sauce and add 1 tsp to it. Italian herbs. We mix everything. Also, instead of tomato sauce, you can use tomato paste, slightly diluted with water.

6. Grease the bottom of the form in which we will bake with butter.
Put all the prepared fillets into the form. Grease each piece of meat on top with tomato sauce.

7. Put in one piece of mozzarella.
Put the fried mushrooms on the cheese.

8. We put everything in the oven preheated to 200 degrees. We bake for about 5-7 minutes.

9. The dish is served hot. For beauty, sprinkle the finished meat with finely chopped dill.

The fillet under the cheese crust turned out to be very tasty, tender and juicy. It is prepared simply and not for long. This is an excellent hot dish on the Festive table. Also, such meat can be cooked for every day.
