Ingredients:
- wheat flour - 220 g (1.5 cups)
- butter - 120 g
- sugar - 110 g (1/2 cup)
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- corn flour - 60 g (1/2 cup)
- sesame seeds - 50 g (5 tbsp. l.)
- cocoa - 25 g (4 tbsp. l.)
Step by step recipe
1. First, let's prepare the dough.
Pour 50 g of sesame seeds into the pan. Fry them over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cooking sesame seeds until a beautiful golden color.
2. Pour the fried sesame seeds into a large bowl. Pour 220 g of wheat flour and 60 g of corn flour to it. We also pour 25 g of cocoa here, be sure to sift it through a sieve so that there are no lumps.
Mix all dry ingredients.
3. Put 120 g of soft butter in a separate bowl. We begin to beat it and add 110 g of sugar.
4. After about a minute, when the sugar and butter are beaten, add 2 eggs one at a time, beating after each until smooth.
5. Transfer the butter mixture to a bowl of flour mixture. Mix everything first with a spatula, and then with your hands. Mix the dough briefly until smooth. The dough should be soft and slightly sticky. If necessary, you can add a little more flour. Once all the ingredients have been mixed, stop kneading.
6. Put the finished dough on a rug and roll it into a layer about 5 mm thick. Cut the gingerbread out of the dough. I use a heart shape.
Collect the dough scraps and re-roll them.
7. We transfer the prepared blanks to a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. We put everything in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. We bake for about 15 minutes.
8. Let the cooked cookies cool and serve.
The cookies turned out to be moderately sweet with a light chocolate bitterness and a pleasant sesame aroma. It is prepared simply and quickly. These cookies are great for homemade tea every day.
