Delicious CRYSTAL salad with a stunningly original decoration that will amaze and delight all your guests. This salad on the table immediately catches the eye.
The CRYSTAL salad will become a real decoration of any festive table.

The products for the salad are all simple and affordable, and the preparation is not complicated. In this salad you will find a delicious combination of tender turkey fillet with cheese and fried mushrooms. And on top there are “lenses” of fragrant meat jelly, which add freshness to the salad. By the way, turkey can be easily replaced with chicken fillet.
Such an unusually decorated salad will always be appropriate, but it is not difficult to prepare, although you still have to work hard on the design. But it's worth it!

Ingredients:

  • turkey fillet (chicken fillet) - 200 g
  • champignons - 200 g
  • boiled eggs - 3 pcs.
  • cheese - 100 g
  • boiled carrots - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • mayonnaise - 100-150 g
  • parsley

For broth

  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • bay leaf - 1 pc.
  • black peppercorns - 2 pcs.
  • allspice - 2 pcs.
  • salt to taste

Jelly

  • broth - 500 ml
  • gelatin - 15 g

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's cook the meat.
Pour about 1 liter of water into a saucepan. Put 200 g of turkey fillet, it can be replaced with chicken fillet. We also put one whole onion and peeled carrots here. Add 1 bay leaf and 2 black and allspice peas.
We put everything on fire.

2. As soon as the water boils, reduce the heat to low and remove the foam.
Salt to taste and stir. After boiling water, cook the fillet for about 20-25 minutes.

3. After 25 minutes, we take out the vegetables from the pan, and leave the finished meat to cool in the broth.

4. Remove the cooled meat from the pan.
Put a paper towel or cheesecloth on a sieve and filter the broth. We need 0.5 liters of broth.

5. Cooking jelly.
Pour 15 g of gelatin into a bowl and pour about 150 ml of strained broth. Mix everything and leave the gelatin to swell.

6. Gelatin is already swollen, dissolve it in the microwave. Pour the dissolved gelatin into the remaining 350 ml of broth. We mix everything.

7. Pour the mixture into a flat container. The liquid layer should be 7 to 10 mm. Put the jelly in the refrigerator to freeze.

8. Let's prepare the rest of the ingredients.
Cut one onion into quarters into rings.
200 g mushrooms cut into slices

9. Put chopped mushrooms in a hot pan. We cook them over high heat, stirring occasionally, until all the liquid has evaporated. As soon as all the liquid from the mushrooms has evaporated, pour in a little vegetable oil. Put the chopped onion here. Fry the onion with mushrooms until the onion is golden. At the end, salt the mushrooms and pepper with black pepper. Mix everything and remove from heat.

10. For the salad, you need 3 boiled eggs. Before rubbing them, cut flowers out of them. With a sharp small knife we ​​make zigzag cuts around the circle of the egg. We remove the cut off top and turn it over, it turns out a flower. So we cut out three flowers. We also leave about a quarter of the yolk to decorate the centers of the flowers.

11. The remaining three eggs on a coarse grater.

12. Cut out three flowers from a plate of boiled carrots using cutting. All the remaining carrots are also three on a fine grater.

13. Three 100 g of cheese on a fine grater.
First cut the boiled meat into slices, and then cut the slices into small cubes.

14. We fold the salad.
Cover the bowl with cling film.
Put grated cheese in the first layer. We leave about 20 g of cheese, we will need it a little later.
We apply a net of mayonnaise.

15. Lay out a layer of grated eggs. We level the eggs and tamp them a little with a spoon. We apply a net of mayonnaise. For the salad, you will need about 100 g of mayonnaise. I use homemade mayonnaise.

16. With the next layer, lay out the fried mushrooms with onions and level. We make a mesh of mayonnaise.

17. Lay out a layer of boiled carrots. Salt the carrots a little. Apply mayonnaise again.

18. Put the chopped boiled fillet in the last layer. We tamp everything with a spoon.
Cover the salad with foil and let it brew for at least 10-15 minutes in the refrigerator.

19. We unfold the film and turn the salad onto a dish, on which we will serve it on the table.
Grease the salad with mayonnaise on the bottom. And sprinkle with grated cheese, which was previously left. This is to ensure that the entire salad is smoother and of the same color.

20. The jelly is already frozen. We cut it into rectangles and small squares.

21. Put the jelly cubes on top of the salad. First, I laid out rectangles, and closer to the top, small cubes. We completely lay the salad with jelly.

22. Decorate the top of the salad with egg flowers. Pour grated yolk into the middle of each flower.

23. Insert parsley leaves between the flowers. We also decorate the salad with carrot flowers. We also make the middle of the carrot flowers from the yolk.
The salad is ready, you can serve it.
