In the spring, in the season of young cabbage, I cook salads, borscht, cutlets, and, of course, pies from it. Young cabbage does not need to be pre-fried or stewed, which simplifies the cooking process. Cabbage always turns out to be tender and aromatic.

How to make young cabbage jellied pie
First, I'll prepare the filling. I cut the young cabbage into thin strips.
I put it in a bowl, add chopped dill and salt to taste. And thoroughly knead the cabbage with my hands so that it becomes soft and slightly juices.

Making dough.Beat eggs, add sour cream and mayonnaise. I mix it with a whisk. Gradually add the sifted flour and baking powder.
I grease the form with oil, put the cabbage on the bottom. Pour dough on top.
Spread the dough with a spatula and put the pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
I have another dough recipe - WITHOUT mayonnaise. See this recipe in the video above (it's also great for this cake). The dough turns out to be slightly thinner, completely non-greasy, but slightly drier.
With young cabbage or green onions, I often cook the dough with the addition of mayonnaise. I use homemade mayonnaise for this recipe (the one with milk). I have the recipe on my channel. It turns out very tasty pie! Moist but not soggy, tender, hearty and delicious!
RECIPE:
• Cabbage (young!) - 500 g
• Eggs - 3 pcs.
• Sour cream - 150 g (5 tablespoons)
• Mayonnaise (I have homemade milk) - 80 g (3 tablespoons)
• Flour - 150 g
• Baking powder - 10 g
• Dill - 3 branches
• Salt
Chop the green onion finely, add the eggs and finely grated cheese. You can take any cheese - both hard and pickled. And you can take both.
I stir everything with a spoon. And the filling is ready! To make a jellied pie with such a filling, I pour a little dough on the bottom, then I spread the filling. And on top - again the dough. It's tasty!
For the green onion filling:
• Green onions - 350 g
• Cheese - 120 g
• Eggs - 3 pcs.
