HOW TO COOK:

First, the marinade. While I'm preparing the tomatoes, the marinade will just cool down. Pour water into a saucepan and add salt, sugar, bay leaf and a few peas of black and allspice. I bring it to a boil. At the end, pour in vinegar (I use 9% table vinegar) and immediately remove the pan from the heat.

It is imperative to remove the skin from the tomatoes. To do this, I cut each tomato on top (crosswise). Not very deep, just making small cuts. I put the tomatoes in a suitable container and pour boiling water for a couple of minutes.

Then I drain the water and peel the tomatoes. It's easy)) I just pull it down from the notch. Here's what happens:

At the bottom of the pan I spread the onion and bell pepper cut into rings. You can add spicy, of course, if you like. But in this recipe, I do not add hot peppers. We like it that way. I chop the garlic coarsely and also put it on the bottom of the pan. Further tomatoes.

Of course, you can take a regular jar and put the tomatoes in it. Here, whatever is more convenient for you. It certainly won't affect the taste. It's more convenient for me in a saucepan))

Sprinkle tomatoes with chopped herbs. Be sure to take dill for this recipe. I also add a few basil leaves for flavor (but it will be delicious without it too).

Pour the tomatoes with cooled marinade and leave them on the table for a day. Then I put it in the refrigerator. In a day, the tomatoes are ready. But if they stand in the refrigerator for a couple of days, you will not tear yourself away from them at all!

• Tomatoes - 1-1.2 kg
• Pepper - 1 pc.
• Onions - 1-2 pcs.
• Garlic - 4-5 cloves.

For the marinade:
• Water - 1 l
• Salt - 2 tbsp. (no slide)
