If you are already tired of daily pasta, buckwheat does not fit and you dislike dumplings from the store, then try to cook these unusual pies for dinner from the most ordinary potatoes.

Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg potatoes
- 1.5 cups flour (maybe more)
- 2 eggs
- salt
- pepper
For filling:
- chopped meat
- vegetables (can be frozen or pickled)
- mushrooms at will
- onion
- hard cheese or mozzarella type
How to cook:
1. Peel and boil the potatoes, drain the water, mash in mashed potatoes.
2. Add flour in parts to warm potatoes. Then pour in the eggs already beaten with salt. Knead the dough. It is the dough that you should get, not the mashed potatoes.
If it is sticky, then add 1-2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil. It may take more flour to make a real potato dough. Spices or peppers to taste.
3. We make different fillings. If from meat, then mix the minced meat with onions, salt and pepper. Minced meat is used raw, but for juiciness, you can pour kefir, milk or vegetable puree from stewed vegetables into it.
Fry the mushrooms with onions and cool.
Vegetable fillings will also require heat treatment. That is, you need to stew or bake eggplants, zucchini or peppers in advance. What is. Drain the liquid.
The filling can be the same potatoes with fried onions or grated cheese / cottage cheese with chopped herbs.
Turks often add mint, cilantro or parsley to their dishes, but in this version it is more an amateur.
4. Cut the potato dough into pieces and roll each of them thinly on flour.
5. Distribute on a cake for 1-2 tsp. l. fillings. The edges of the dough can be left free and clean, or they wrap like a spring roll.
6. With flour hands we make a roll from potato dough, not a pie! Necessarily with a seam at the bottom.
7. The blanks can be baked in the oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes, greased with salt water or an egg. Or deep-fry.
It is recommended to fry Çıtır patatesli börek with meat filling first, and then bake for 10 minutes, so that the meat is cooked accurately. But with enough oil, one frying is enough.
