✅ Today I want to share with you simple recipes with lemons. I cannot imagine my cuisine without these spices. You will like it too, I have no doubt. And at the end of the article, I will leave a video where I showed 10 ideas and recipes with lemons (look, interesting and unusual).
I add these spices to meat, fish, even tea! The husband is very fond of chicken wings with such a seasoning and barbecue (it turns out a magical taste).
Let's cook already!
I take 2 kg of lemons. I bought in a store for 87 rubles / kg (Kursk). How much do lemons cost you and in which city?
I wash the lemons with soda: pour soda on a sponge, rub the lemons and wash them under hot water. After that, you can eat them with the peel.
I cut part of the lemons into circles (rather thinly), and part into slices (cut the circle into 4 parts). It is very important - you need to remove the seeds that come across in lemons. Otherwise, then everything will be bitter.
We will dry the lemons: you can in the oven. Then you need to cover the baking sheet with baking paper, and spread the lemons on it. Use immediately on all baking trays that are placed in the oven and on the wire rack. We dry at the lowest temperature that is with the door ajar (50 degrees).
I will dry in a dehydrator (electric dryer) at a temperature of 60 degrees. No paper is needed here. Lemons should be dried until they crunch and darken. It took me 20 hours. Quite inexpensively comes out. Now, both electric ovens and economical dryers. Usually I immediately prepare seasonings for a year or half a year in advance.
I also dry garlic and ginger. It simply cannot be compared with the one bought in the store! In the video below, I showed you how to dry them properly.
Now I grind some of the lemons in a blender. The aroma is indescribable! I leave the lemons that were cut into pieces. I store it in a glass jar.
Where do I use it?
1). In baked goods instead of vanillin! It turns out to be very aromatic.
2). I mix lemon powder (1 tsp. l.) with ordinary salt (80 gr. salt) and you get aromatic, lemon salt. I add to the marinade for kebabs, fish, meat. Very tasty. And also in the salad! Refueling immediately becomes unusual.
3). I mix lemon powder with chopped garlic and ginger (also dried) and this is just a miracle seasoning that I add to almost all meat and fish dishes.
4). I just add lemon powder to the water - it turns out lemon, delicious water. And there is no need to wait until it is infused.
5). I mix dried lemon and ginger in equal proportions (add to tea) or as a seasoning in cookies, gingerbread, muffins, meat, fish.
6). I add lemon wedges to tea. Very comfortably. And also in a bottle of water when I take it with me. This water is much more pleasant to drink. The video also contains a recipe for a vitamin mixture with dried lemon (look).
