Cooking a cottage cheese cake is not difficult at all and even a novice hostess can do it. All you need to do is mix all the ingredients and bake.

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese (5-9%) - 400 g
  • flour - 260 g
  • sugar - 1 cup (200 g)
  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • sour cream - 4 tbsp. l.
  • butter - 40 g
  • baking powder - 3 hours l.

Step by step recipe

1. Break 4 eggs into a bowl and pour 200 g of sugar. Beat with a mixer until light foam.

2. Add 400 g of cottage cheese to beaten eggs. Again, beat everything with a mixer until smooth. If desired, the cottage cheese can be chopped with an immersion blender or in a chopper, but I like it when the cottage cheese remains in small pieces.

3. Pour 40 g of melted butter into this mixture and add 4 tbsp. l. sour cream of any fat content.
Mix everything again.

4. In a separate bowl, mix 260 g flour and 3 tsp. l. baking powder.

5. Pour the flour with the baking powder into the bowl with the curd mixture.
We mix everything with a mixer.

6. The dough is ready, now we will prepare the baking dish.
I will bake in a metal cupcake. In the middle of the form, grease well with butter.
Pour flour into it and distribute well in shape. This is done so that you can easily get the cake out of the mold. If you bake in a silicone mold, then it is not necessary to grease and sprinkle with flour.

7. Carefully transfer the prepared dough into a baking dish and evenly distribute it over the form.

8. We put the cake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for approximately 60 - 80 minutes. For the last 20 minutes of baking, lower the oven temperature by 10 degrees.

9. We take out the baked cooled cupcake from the mold and rearrange it on a dish.
Sprinkle the top of the cake with powdered sugar.

The cottage cheese cake turned out very tasty and moderately sweet. Moist tender crumb and pleasant curd-creamy taste will not leave anyone indifferent.
