I found this wonderful mannik from the magnificent foot blogger Zarema Khadzhieva. Having cooked, I came to the conclusion that it is not nearly inferior to those that we are treated to by the hospitable chefs of sunny Turkey ...
Ingredients: Dough: eggs, sugar, semolina, poppy seeds, milk, sunflower oil, vanillin, baking powder, flour, Syrup:, water, sugar, lemon juice, Ganache:, cream (15%), chocolate (I took black), vegetable oil, nuts
Cooking method:
Beat eggs well with sugar. Add poppy seeds and semolina, mix well.
Pour milk, vegetable oil. Mix well again.
Sift flour with baking powder, add vanilla. Pour everything into the dough. Mix well.
Grease a baking dish with butter. Pour in the batter, smooth it out.
Bake for 30-35 minutes at 180°. After baking, cool completely and then poke with a toothpick.
Cook syrup: mix sugar, water and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Let's cool down.
Pour the syrup into the cooled mannik.
We make ganache: we throw chocolate into the warmed cream, stirring, let it dissolve and remove from heat. Add vegetable oil and mix well.
We spread the finished ganache on a mannik, level it, sprinkle with nuts and let it stand in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. You can cook without nuts and ganache, but I do with them. Bon Appetit!
