Without frying, without oil, you can cook delicious diet cutlets in gravy even from turkey breast. They turn out juicy and tender.
Ingredients: turkey breasts (about 600 g), medium onions, large carrots, egg, garlic, large tomatoes or 2 tbsp. l. tomato paste, or a small jar of tomatoes in their own juice, egg, salt, optionally 1 tsp. l. sugar, black pepper, bay leaf
Cooking method:
Grind the breast and 1 onion into minced meat, add the egg, salt (about half a teaspoon). l. salt or 2/3 if you like salty), pepper lightly. Set aside the minced meat to infuse a little.
Finely chop the second onion, grate the carrot.
Pour about 2 cm of water into a deep frying pan and turn on the stove. Add onion. Let the onion boil a little over low heat - 5-7 minutes.
Add carrots and bay leaf. Then chopped tomatoes or tomato paste. Salt to taste. In order not to be sour, you can add a little sugar or a sweetener.
Let the gravy boil for another 3 minutes. In the meantime, form cutlets.
Put the patties into the simmering sauce and cover with a lid. After 10 minutes, turn the cutlets over and steam for another 5-7 minutes. The time depends on the thickness of the cutlets. They should completely change color inside.
Add chopped garlic, a little pepper and after a minute turn off the stove. Let the meatballs cool down a bit.
