So that the smooth experts do not shower me with skimmers, I say right away: this is a recipe with exceptions to the rules.

Pilaf Light (the simplest option)

Ingredients: pork (you can chicken), medium carrots, onions (of which 2 for snacks), vegetable oil, tomatoes (for snacks), Salt, seasoning, garlic, steamed! rice

Cooking method:

Cut the meat into small pieces, carrots into strips, onions (3 pcs.) As for overcooking, finely chop the garlic with a knife.

We heat the cauldron, heat up the oil, throw in the meat. Not all at once, piece by piece (so as not to bring down the temperature). Be careful, the oil will splatter. Fry for 2 minutes, stir and another 2 minutes. We do everything on moderately high heat.

Add onion, fry for 2-3 minutes. We turn on the kettle, we will need boiling water soon.

Stir, add carrots, also for 2-3 minutes. Rinse the rice thoroughly until the water runs clear.

Throw in the garlic, fry for just a minute, stirring. Add rice. Tablespoon, with a slide, salt and right. If there is weighted, good. I add store, but only this brand. Nothing inferior. I also put a little universal. Mix everything, add boiling water. Pour so that the water covers everything by 2 cm. above. Reduce the heat to a minimum, close the lid and "forget" for 15 minutes.

We take one onion, clean, cut a quarter into rings. The same with tomatoes. Salt, mix. No oil is required! We take it aside.

We also cut the second onion into quarter rings, put it on a plate with a little kneading with your hand. A pinch of salt, a pinch of sugar, sprinkle with vinegar. I have an apple one, but you can also use a regular one, after diluting it. We take it aside.

15 minutes have passed, we check our pilaf. Mix from the walls to the center, make a "slide". While stirring, try to “shake” the rice a little so that it takes in air. We try rice for salt and the degree of readiness. If it's harsh, we make a hole in the "slide" and add a little, 100 grams, of water. If there is little salt, add directly to the "slide". Close, leave for another 7-10 minutes.

Time has passed. We do not open the cauldron. Turn off the heat, cover with a towel. Let it rest for 5 minutes.

Before serving, mix again, put on a plate, sprinkle (optionally) with our snack. Mmmm, bon appetit.
