A mega-popular dish in Turkey is white beans. They cook just like that with meat. It is very easy to prepare, but takes a long time. One of the options is with sujuk (traditional dried sausage).

Turkish beans with sujuk

Ingredients: white beans, sujuk, large onion, garlic, bell pepper, tomato paste, salt, spices (black pepper, red bell pepper, thyme)

Cooking method:

Beans must be soaked overnight. Pour the washed beans into the pan. Pour water and put on fire. Periodically remove the foam.

Pour sunflower oil into another pan, fry onion and garlic, add bell pepper. Fry for a couple of minutes. Cut the sujuk into small pieces. Add tomato paste, salt, spices. We mix. And fry again until the sujuk is ready.

Throw the cooked boiled beans into a colander. And transfer to a saucepan with sujuk. Stir and add hot water.

Cook for some more time so that all the ingredients mix and share their taste. Be sure to serve with rice and ayran.
