Recently seen in the social networking recipe homemade mascarpone, and he was very interested in me. Preparing simple, just two ingredients, and I decided to try. It turned out pretty good, then used for the preparation of tiramisu.
Ingredients for the mascarpone:
cream
lemon juice
In fact, there is nothing complicated there at all, especially for those who are already preparing any other home-made cheese, because the preparation principle is the same.
So for home mascarpone we need 1 liter of cream. Take the heavy cream 30-36%, of which cheese best.
Pour the cream into a saucepan and put on a plate. Over moderate heat heat the cream to a boil, stirring constantly with a spoon them.
As soon begins to boil, remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice. Thoroughly mix the cream and leave for 20-30 minutes, so they cooled down a bit and "stratified". I leave for 20 minutes, and all beautifully turned out.
Now we need to lay a colander with several layers of cheesecloth and gently pour the cream. Reserve mass cool down at room temperature, then remove in a refrigerator.
Approximately 12 hours later, our home will be ready mascarpone. Cheese turns out very tasty, sweet, pleasant taste, is not worse than the store.
With this cheese I then prepared a tiramisu, it was delicious! Husband just buttered bread, made sandwiches. Bon appetit, my friends!
